KBM came about as an idea in 1995, when the founders identified a need for a system that would train people how to survive and neutralize a real life attack situation, as well as manage and take control of it. By the year 2000, the complete KBM combat method was created and today we have a comprehensive system which prepares soldiers, law enforcement personnel, as well as civilians to react correctly in any type of attack.
- ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
- SUSPECT IDENTIFICATION
- SUSPICIOUS OBJECT IDENTIFICATION
- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THINGS AROUND YOU WHICH CAN BE USED AS A WEAPON TO GAIN ADVANTAGE OVER THE ASSAILANT
A critical part of the KBM training is mental preparation for an attack. This includes constant awareness of your surroundings, identifying your attacker's weak points, reacting to the threat, and ending the event. In the event of an attack, it is natural for us to panic, causing confusion, anxiety, and our mind and body to freeze. Because KBM training is built on real life possible attack scenarios, trainees sharpen their minds to avoid panic and take control of an attack situation. KBM training builds confidence, alertness, and mental strength on top of all the physical training.
