LEVEL 1: WHITE BELT WITH STRIPE

White Belt + Stripe

Stage 1 K.B.M training focuses on Social Code, Behavior, and Stability.

 

Social code: Respect the Dojo. respect the Sensei. respect the instructor. respect your colleagues. respect yourself. respect the equipment and dressing code.

 

Stability: Basic body movement - 1. Optimal stance for stability   2. Exiting natural position (sideways), and backward (In case of attack from behind). Practicing Stable standing posture - (AKA SSP) stand out - forward, backward, sideways, and diagonally.

 

LEVEL 3: ORANGE BELT

Orange Belt

Rolls and Stoppings:

1. Push (neck lashing)

2. Being pushed scenarios:

A. Rolling: Forward, backward, sideways.

B. Braking: forward, backward, sideways.

 

While training rolls and stoppings, the fighting continues.

 

Tackle rolls and stoppings:

1. Back leg cutting (O-Soto-Gari)

2. Dropping the neck (Kubi-Nage).

3. Combined tackles- from hitting / seizure / assault.

 

Arm Strike:

1. Straight (face / nose)

2. Side (jaw / neck)

3. Internal (jaw / neck / neck).

4. "Duck" strike.

 

Knees:

1. Leaping forward

Kicks:

1. Straight - push forward.

Pinning release:

1. Release from the scarf pinning:
 

     A. Lifting a leg and lowering opponent's head.

     B. Pressing fingers to the eyes and lowering opponent's head.

     C. Squeezing ribs and reversing.

     D. Pull with a suit/coat.

 

2. Release from Collar:

 

     A. An elbow.

     B. Incorporating a leg over the forearm.

 

3. Chest Release:

 

     A. Thumb to the eye/ jaw squeezing and neck twisting

     B. Rolling backward.

     C. Bitting.

 

Body releases:

1. Hands release from the front (back).

LEVEL 4: GREEN BELT

Green Belt

Punch/Elbow:
Rotate - step forward diagonally, turn a glance, load a pelvis and exit to a fist/hammer.

 

Kicks:

1. Bouncing and kicking.

2. "Zugia" kick - leaping.

3. A pensive "Zugia" kick - leaping.

4. Heel kick (straight) to the chin.

 

Head release:

From school choke:

1. Evasion before strangulation.

2. Release after conception.


From hair pulling:

1. Bangs/Fringe pulling.

2. Pulling from the back of the head (Short / long hair).

3. Pulling from the side of the head/ear.

 

Body Release:

 Two hand releases from the front:

 1. Ordinary stand with a latch.

 2. With a latch.

 

Hand releases from behind:

1. Close and tackle.

Front hugging release:

1. Prevention of bonding.

Front chocking release:

Dash Releases

Holding sleeve/arm releases:

Baton/stick/bottle

 

Head defense:

1. Discharging baton from attacker -

     A. Upper ("sword"): exit, knee, arm stroke to the nape, latch/elbow fracture,

     unloading baton, and stable standing posture.

2. Side (head jump).

 

Mai Geri protections:

 

External exits 

1. Kick down under the belly, and hand wipe with opponent body movement, finishing with a Low Kick.

 

2. Kick from the chest and above, pushing the opponent to the opposite side of the body and finishing with a Low Kick.

 

Exit to the interior:
Hand swipe will be always to the same side, body movement + puncture kick to the knee/testicles.

 

wrestling (Randori):

 3 attackers + batton / stick / bottle of "wandering" weapons. 


Battles:
5 fights of 2 minutes each.

LEVEL 5: BLUE BELT

Blue Belt

Kicks:

1. Scorpion kick.

2. "Nose crush" kick soles.

3. Inside kick.

4. Outside kick.

5 Rotating kicks:

     
     A. Diagonally step and straight kick.

     B. Straight rotated kick while jumping to the belly.

 

Body Release:

1. Hugging from the front (hands locked).

2. Back hugging (hands locked).

 

Side to side release:

1. Hands-free - Elbow to the jaw, swivel and locked to guillotine, knees, and release.

2. Hands locked - Testicular sclerosis, elbow, With a hand palm to the front.
     
     A. Police lock Release: protection from an attacker's strike, pushing the hand in with a             strike, dropping a hook and sweeping two legs.

     B. Garment holding Release:

 

From the back:

* The same side, like strangulation from a straight back, continues with sickle fist to the jaw and enter to latch/ fracture on the elbow using the ribs.

 

** Opposite side, Evasion bending from a fist while stepping back, in addition to attacking a fist from a sickle to the ribs.

 

Getting up while pushing attacker's hand and strike back with an open hand to the face/jaw.

 

3. Collar push to the wall release:

 

Release identical to suffocation from the back + knocking assailant's head against the wall. Continuing with a knee to the ribs, ending with stable standing posture.

 

4. opposite flap hand release: "street mistake", exit to the outside add sickle fist to the jaw, and continue with latch/ breakage to the elbow.

 

Baton/stick/bottle defense:

 

Side defense

1. To the legs -  entrance with a block.

2. To to the assailant's arm, continue with a punch to the attacker's head.

3. To the ribs, entry with arm strike, continue to with knee and wrap attacker's arm.

 

Straight kick (May Gary) defense:

 

External defense

1. Exit as in the previous one, entering with blocking attacker's arm and punching directly to the side.

Exit with body movement, the swiping hand is wrapped on attacker's feet, entering back with an elbow/fist to the jaw, grasping the shoulder, lowering to the ground with/without a kick to the attacker's standing foot.

 

2. Internal defense - Exit as the previous (internal) hand that directs, cools and enters with the attacker's elbow/fist, grasping the shoulder, and performing swiping the standing leg. Kick to the testicles exit to stable standing posture.

 

Knife defense

1. Bottom attack defense

2. Direct attack defense.

3. Upper attack defense.
 

Chokings:

1. "Guillotine" choking.

2. Lock jaw.

 

Chokes from behind:

A. Air blocking.

B. Blood choking.

 

Ground:

1. The scissors holding, and scissors release.

LEVEL 2: YELLOW BELT

Yellow Belt

Stage 2 K.B.M training is opened after 6 months of training (min. 2 x per week).

 

The main focus of this stage is on defense, punches, breaking and stitch positions (stitch is the intermediate stage between comfort and safety, With the ability to carry out a counterattack), rolling/hovering.

LEVEL 6: BLUE BELT WITH STRIPE

Release opponent frontal grip garment/short
 

1. Release from lapel grip: pulling out the hand's palm, facing the ceiling and continuing to break the root and elbow, ending with SSP.

2. Release from a garment (abdomen)grip: pulling out a hand, a little finger towards the ceiling, continuing to break the root, ending with SSP.

3. Grabbing a T-shirt (belly): "Grandpa's stick" dropping, continuing breakage on the ground of the wrist. ending with SSP.

4. from the flap/arm sleeve's grasp: "breaking fingers".

 

Knife Protections

 

Two bottom attack protections:

1. Previous protection.

A. Slashing from the outside inward, neck level, body moving in, two hands protecting (with forearm muscle), one hand hammers to the jaw, second hand holding the wrist and attacking.
